Robert at The Non-Alcoholic Student and Saumya of Randomness Inked tagged me to complete the TMI Tag! I hope my answers are interesting, and I also hope you’re all not sick of me answering questions about myself! Let’s begin:

Q: Have you ever been in love?

Q: What is your favorite drink?

Black coffee.

Q: What is your favorite song?

I’m not sure I have a favorite, but right now I’d say it’s “All Apologies” by Nirvana.

Q: What is your zodiac sign?

Q: What is your favorite show?

Q: What is your favorite band?

This is a tough one because there are so many bands that I love. I’ll just say that my favorite bands fall into the early ’90s grunge/indie rock genre.

Q: Something you really miss.

Since I became a vegetarian, I occasionally miss eating meat. And I have no desire to eat imitation meat made of tempeh or seitan.

Q: Where do you go when you are sad?

I hide under a quilt on the sofa.

Q: Have you ever been in a physical fight?

Yes. I was 8 years old, and my babysitter’s incredibly spoiled, 6-year-old daughter continually bullied me. I finally had enough and punched her on the chin. Though she cried and her parents came in to see what had happened, there were no consequences for me! They must have known what kind of daughter (the youngest) they had.

Q: What is your favorite colour?

Q: Loud music or soft?

Depends on my mood.

Q: Favorite actor.

Daniel Craig comes to mind.

Q: Do you have any fears? What are they?

Insects. But also leaving the house alone and driving.

Q: Meaning behind your blog name.

My name’s Barb, and I’m bipolar lol!

Q: Last time you said you loved someone.

This morning, to my husband.

Q: Last book you read.

Love Poems by Anne Sexton.

Q: The book you are currently reading.

Hemingway’s Brain by Andrew Farah and Daughter Detox: Recovering From An Unloving Mother and Reclaiming Your Life by Peg Streep.

Q: Last sport you played.

Ice hockey.

Q: Last song you sang.

“Take A Picture” by Filter.

Q: Favorite food.

Q: Place you want to visit.

Ann Arbor, Michigan, to watch an Ohio State vs. University of Michigan (American) football game.

Q: Favorite flavor of sweet.

At the moment, Cabernet Dark Chocolate handcrafted caramels from a local candy shop.

Q: What instruments do you play?

Drums, piano, and guitar, though it’s been years since I’ve played any of them.

Q: Favorite piece of jewelry.

My wedding ring.

Okay! Time to tag some people! Here they are:

Eve of Revenge of Eve

Beckie of Beckie’s Mental Mess

Ashley of Mental Health @ Home

Donnalee of Laughing Dakini Tarot: Readings by Donnalee

Frazzled of Rant and Reason

I know some of you have been tagged on this particular post (Eve, I’m looking at you lol!), so please don’t feel like you have to do this — even if you haven’t previously been tagged. But if you decide to do it, I’d love to read your posts! 😊

  1. I’m not good at answering all these questions since it scrambles my brains. Sorry! I just pick out one or two and answer in replies, like my favourites drinks are water and organic coffee with organic half and half. That probably sums me up more than the other questions would!

      1. There’s a gorup for those who got electrcouted and struck by lightning, and to join it you have to fill in pages and pages of stuff that used to make me have fits of crying rage, or other epilepectic episodes just trying to fill it in, and it is intended for those of us who have been harmed or killed thast way who all have brain injury. It seemed a little tonedeaf to me to require all that–

        1. It certainly does. You’d think they’d know better. I can’t believe they ask so much from people with brain injuries!

          1. My best guess was that the guy doing it had his own brain injury and didn’t understand the limitations of others. It had surveys about how good this part of your health was x months ago versus how good it is now, all kind of things you’d fill out at a new doctor’s office. I still never did it.

              1. I think the guy was just trying to come up with a picture of ‘this many people who got cooked this way have this as a result’. I personally would just say pay the membership fee and then if you want to voluntarily fill this stuff in, thanks.
