The Overcoat

24985600577_1258f723cb_zThere’s this inside joke between my husband, sister, brother-in-law, and me. My dad, who lives halfway across the country, has in the past, sent my husband his old dress shirts, thinking that my husband would want to wear them. Once, my dad even left a pen in the pocket!!! πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

This time, it’s a wool/cashmere overcoat, since my dad doesn’t need it where he lives. He said he’d send it to us. OK. So yesterday, I called him with the news about our condo. I forgot about the coat, but my dad brought it up: he said he’d send it home with my sister in May, when she goes out there for our sister-in-law’s baby shower. My husband and I can’t make it, so my dad is sending it with my sister. πŸ˜‚πŸ€£πŸ˜‚

I’m still debating whether or not to tell her, but I don’t think I’ll be able to stop giggling at the restaurant we’re eating at for brunch. Once I partake of the meal, I don’t know if I’ll be able to hold it together.

This may not seem funny to you, but it’s fu@king hilarious from my perspective. More news later!
