I took the  Myers-Briggs test a few years ago to learn which of the 16 personalities I am. I’m an INFJ and apparently, they (Myers and Briggs?) established 16 personality types. The links lead to descriptions of each type, which are:

You can find many personality and/or Meyers-Briggs tests online, and they’re usually free. The one that I took is here. They ask for your email address to send your results, but don’t worry — I’ve only ever received one email: my results. And no spam or newsletter emails.

So according to my test, I am an INFJ or, the Counselor:

INFJs are visionaries and idealists who ooze creative imagination and brilliant ideas. They have a different, and usually more profound, way of looking at the world. They have a substance and depth in the way they think, never taking anything at surface level or accepting things the way they are. Others may sometimes perceive people with the INFJ personality type as weird or amusing because of their different outlook on life.

INFJs are gentle, caring, complex, and highly intuitive individuals. Artistic and creative, they live in a world of hidden meanings and possibilities. While they place great importance on order, they can also be spontaneous because they intuitively understand things without being able to pinpoint why. This makes INFJs less systematic and orderly than other Judging types.

Creative describes me. And I’m sure people see me as “weird or amusing,” which is fine with me. I would say that my type’s description is pretty accurate, though of course that’s not the case with everybody.

Do you know your Meyers-Briggs Personality Type? Which is it? Is it accurate?

      1. WP kept putting me in spam because I wrote about different topics. Lol. That’s why I dislike blogging. You have to stay in a strict niche here or you get spam label. I went over it with support. If I blog again I’ll host somewhere else.

    1. You know what, so am I (I retook it to see what would happen). I don’t know what their deal is. Hopefully we’ll get them soon!

      1. B-I-N-G-O, and Bingo was his name , Oh! LOL! 💗 Sorry, goofy mood this morning, no coffee in me yet.
Some of the questions are a bit vague… Like #1 Standing in line: Would you strike up a converstation or, would you stare at your phone.
I answered, stare at my phone. Heck, I never even acknowledge my phone let alone break it out in a line at the supermarket.
I simply stare ahead and hope to get the heck out of there as fast as possible. LOL!

        1. Hmmm…the first thing that popped into my head was stare at my phone. But when I thought about it, staring ahead might be less anxiety-provoking because of my “need” to close all the apps before I get off the phone, but this might make me hold up the line.
