I can’t believe that the first month of 2020 is over. It went by so fast!! And I thought last year flew by.
My mental wellness continues, though there were a few days where I was feeling down and thought I was depressed. I then used my light box from 45 to 60 minutes, which helped.
In the past, I never would have signed up for something that takes a year. Or even 12 weeks. Because I used to cancel my plans at the last minute all. The. Time. I’ve taken up knitting, which isn’t going so well, but I’m having fun! The class I signed up for meets once a week for 12 weeks. We are knitting 12 squares, which will then be sewn together to make a blanket. We will begin Square 5 this Wednesday, but I still haven’t finished square 1 lol!
I’m caught up in my crochet class where we’re making 12 squares over 12 months rather than weeks. Just a few years ago, I never would have been able to do this, no thanks to anxiety. But just because I’m better at following through on my plans, doesn’t mean the anxiety is gone.
We had a nice Christmas, which we celebrated the weekend after New Year’s. We drove across the state to visit my in-laws, which included my husband’s brother and his young family. His sister couldn’t make it.
We celebrated New Year’s by falling asleep before midnight lol! We didn’t miss anything, though.
